Green and Fox 2000 Pictures worked for the first time on the film adaptation of "The Fault in Our Stars," which is based on Green's highly acclaimed book. The movie became a huge success in 2014 and it earned a worldwide box office hit sales of more than $304 million, according to Boston.

The president of the Fox 2000 Pictures, Elizabeth Gabler, stated that they were thrilled to expand their "already extraordinary relationship" with Green and they were privileged to enrich the creativity between the two parties. The president expressed her admiration to the bestseller author and even declared that they are "proud to be part of his world."

On the other hand, another Green best-selling novel, "Paper Towns was set to have its film adaptation and it will be shown on theaters on July 24. The characters in the book will be portrayed by Cara Delevingne and Nat Wolff, according to Yahoo! Movies. This movie was produced by Green himself along with Temple Hill Entertainment and it is considered as a comedy-drama genre.

However, Green's first novel, "Looking For Alaska," will also have a film adaptation and it is currently being crafted by Paramount Pictures. Again, Temple Hill will be the one to produce the movie.

Aside from Green's novels that had or will have film adaptations, the well-known author also wrote other books like "An Abundance of Katherines," "Let It Snow: Three Holiday Romances," and "Will Grayson, Will Grayson." There is no confirmation yet whether these novels are also set to have their respective film adaptations now that Fox 2000 Pictures and Green are working together for several projects.

Green is not only known for writing novels, he also became popular because of his video blog project called "Brotherhood 2.0" which he agreed to do together with his brother, Hank. The project gained so much popularity and the duo was able to establish an international fan base, collectively known as "Nerdfighters."
