"Loyal" hit maker Chris Brown vented his frustration about being grounded in Phillipines in a now-deleted Instagram videos on July 23, Thursday, in which he was seen on his knees and pleading for permission to fly back home.

The video, which was captioned as "OBAMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!," has apparently been shot in the singer's hotel room. While the singer reportedly looked bored and desperate to go home in one video, he was seen in an abusive mood in another video, Daily Mail reported.

The Grammy-winning singer was in Manilla for a performance on July 21, Tuesday, after which he was stopped from leaving the country the next day, owing to a complaint of fraud lodged against him by Iglesia ni Cristo, a religious group. The complaint states the singer had missed a pre-scheduled New Year's Eve concert scheduled to be held at the 55,000-seat Philippine Arena, owned by the religious group.

The complaint also said that an amount of $1 million was paid to the singer and his Candian promoter for the event but he never showed up. Although Brown's representative in the United States has dismissed the controversy as a misunderstanding, claiming that the singer will leave the country soon for Hong Kong to continue his planned performances, it was confirmed on the night of July 23 that the singer is still grounded in Manilla, New York Times reported.

The singer was scheduled to head for Hong Kong, where he was supposed to perform on July 22, Wednesday. The show is now postponed for the second time and the new date is not yet announced. Earlier in the week, his Indonesia show, which was scheduled on July 25, Saturday,  was announced as cancelled, citing  "security concerns" in the area.
