Moto G 2015 is one of the most highly anticipated smartphones which will be launched this year. The phone is expected to be power packed with many exciting new features in comparison to its predecessors.
The upcoming device is expected to be equipped with a 4.97-inch display screen and may also support HD resolution with a pixel resolution of 720 X 1280 ppi, according to The Verge.
It may also be equipped with a low end Snapdragon SoC processor along with 1 GB RAM. Two variants are expected for Moto G 2015 and both may feature 8 GB internal storage option. Both the models are expected to be equipped with a 13 mega pixel rear camera and a 5 mega pixel front camera, according to The International Business Times.
It is rumored to come equipped with Android 5.1.1 operating system from the very beginning and will soon get the Android M upgrade. It may also support 4G LTE connectivity and a battery capacity of 2,470 mAh.
The device is currently expected to release on July 28. It was also rumored recently that the device will be equipped with a water proof chassis which will be present on the phone's exterior. This feature is generally seen in high end phones like the Xperia Z series, making Moto G 2015 the first middle range phone to be equipped with such a high end feature.
This chassis will be embossed with the IPX7 certification too. The device is also rumored to be water proof, but it will not be dust proof.
The front housing of the much-anticipated device will be present in two options - black and white. On the other hand, there would be numerous customizable options available for the rear housing, which includes the colors of cherry, blue, navy, lime, gold, black, turquoise amongst others.
Regarding the accents, there is a plethora of choice for the users. They can choose from Metallic Pink, Metallic blue, Metallic champagne, Metallic black, Metallic orange, Metallic violet and Metallic chrome.
Motorola is also launching the official flipshells with the device for just $19.99 only. They come in various shades as turquoise, raspberry, crimson, black and blue.
Moto G 2015 is expected to be launched at an introductory price of $240 for the white version of the phone and for $238 for the black version of the phone.
