After the much awaited patch 1.07 release, it was announced that CD Projekt is already working on “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” Patch 1.08, which will be released soon.

“We are already working on the next patch. More info about that will be revealed in the near future,” CD Projekt Red community manager Marcin Momot tweeted in response to a fan asking if there will be a hotfix for patch 1.07 issues, Game Pur reported.

The upcoming update is expected to fix the frame rate drop issue in PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, which was supposed to be addressed in Patch 1.07. “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” patch 1.08 will also more likely resolve the issues with Card Collector achievement, which Momot confirmed earlier this week that the developer is looking into, Geek Snack reported.

The previous patch 1.07 brought about a large number of amendments and was the biggest update to the game with a size of around 7GB. The patch carried over 100 bug fixes along with game play tweaks. A new alternate movement for Geralt and other new features like stash for players to store their loots were also added to the game with the patch.

Just a few days back, the #15 DLC out of the 16 free DLCs promised by the CD Projekt Red was rolled out, giving new finishers animations for Geralt. the developer has also teased the last DLC, to be released next week, will be something big as the team is planning to end on a high note.

Chances are that “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” Patch 1.08 release might happen alongside the last DLC, as the next patch is not expected to be as big as patch 1.07. However, there is no official information about “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” patch 1.08 other than that it is already in the works.
