Meanwhile, Ben Affleck's Bruce Wayne/Batman has been a superhero for the past 20 years by the time "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is released. In an interview with the publication, director Zach Snyder confirmed that Bruce will be somewhere between 45 and 46 years old in the movie.

After everything that has happened in Batman's life, including the loss of his good friend Jim Gordon, the superhero will become more jaded in the upcoming film. This will be the reason why he will decide to take on Superman.

When asked who should be dubbed as the villain the movie, Snyder said that among audiences, it would be much easier to say that Bruce/Batman is the bad guy.

In other news, several promotional pictures featuring the cast of "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" were recently released online. According to Den of Geek, the three photos featured Affleck as Bruce/Batman, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and Henry Cavill as Superman. Additional photos were released thereafter featuring Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman and Amy Adams as Lois Lane.

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is slated to hit theaters in the United States on Mar. 25, 2016.
