Some sweet and sugary is coming to "The Sims 4" to delight every Sim's foodie and sweet tooth craving. EA has announced a new update that will update the look, feel and events in every "The Sims 4" kitchen.
Dubbed as the Cool Kitchen Stuff expansion, this will add some food items and features to give a modern flair to the Sims kitchens. To start off, the expansion brings some new appliances and furnishes, not limited to glass doors and stainless steel appliances, the developer announced via the official "The Sims" website.
The revamp is not just restricted to the kitchen. While the place where the Sims work will now be extra furnished, the Sims themselves will look even better, as "The Sims 4" Cool Kitchen Stuff will also have new hairstyles and outfits to be used when doing some domestic time in the kitchen.
More importantly, "The Sims 4" new expansion will also give more jobs and activities to the Sims. Foodie lovers can take note of the new Ice Cream Maker so that players can make their own gelato, soft-serve and more. The device can make up to 30 flavors, and if that is not enough of a variation, there are even a number of garnishes that Sims can use on their frozen desserts.
"The Sims 4" Cool Kitchen Stuff will be released on Aug. 11. But before the expansion strikes, EA has also announced that it will be releasing a dishwasher in a free update for "The Sims 4." This is good news and a good complementary item that can be used for any clean-ups in the kitchen afterwards.
The upcoming update is not the only way to get some additional features and activities in "The Sims 4." Thanks to a new mod by veteran "The Sims 4" modder Simmythesim, universities can now be added to the title, Kotaku reported. The mod works as a modification of the "Get to Work" expansion. This makes the universities into its own workplace, hence the aptly dubbed title "Get to College."
There are three new buildings with the mod, which are the Fine Arts Building, the Music Building and the Physical Education Building. Sims can do two interactions, which are streaking and asking questions. Simmythesim even added a grade system to challenge students and the ability to start level 4 of a Sim's career depending on his major once he passes that major.
