The most powerful and latest Cadillac CTS-V has finally showed its great features and performance. It is the most powerful vehicle in 112-year history and answer to knock-down the amazing BMW M5.
According to Herald Recorder, Cadillac has been considered as the sedate automakers for many years. With the new CTS-V, the automaker may have been realized to change its looks and features just a little bit.
2016 Cadillac CTS-V has a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine with 630 lb/ft of torque and 640 horsepower. This engine feature is the same as Corvette Z06. This sophisticated car has an 8-speed automatic transmission. It also has a structural and suspension enhancement for a definite cornering and steering.
Even though this Cadillac has a bit larger frame than Corvette, it can go from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.6 seconds which is faster than BMW M5. This luxury sedan has a quarter mile time of 11.6 per seconds which is quite impressive. In addition, this car has 6-piston Brembo brakes in front and 4-piston Brembo brakes in the back. It also has a Magnetic Ride Control Shock and Michelin Pilot super sports tire.
CTS-V has an entirely new technology that will help improve safety and driving ability with performance data recorder and LTE 4G Wi-Fi connectivity. It also has a Bose Premium audio that continuously adjust the volume for better background noise. CTS-V also has a unique CurbView Camera which helps catch hidden surprises and assists in automatic parking, Cadillac revealed.
2016 Cadillac CTS-V has a starting price of $83, 995. Cadillac plans to release this model in summer of 2016.
