The Syndicate's operative Ilsa Faust (Rebecca Ferguson) and its founder Solomon Lane (Sean Harris) find Mission Impossible main man Ethan Hunt to be stimulating so they decided to give him a hard time in getting what he wants.

"Mission Impossible - Rogue Nation" was written and directed by Christopher McQuarrie. The movie went beyond great visual cues and choices, expertly balancing suspense and fun, according to ABC News

This is not Cruise's first project with the director since McQuarrie wrote and directed "Jack Reacher" and wrote "Edge of Tomorrow."

Meanwhile, the latest installment of the "Mission Impossible" series is quite different from the ones previously released.  Typically, with an intricate storyline, "Rogue Nation" goes the other way, with even less interesting results, the Polygon reviewed.

"Mission Impossible - Rogue Nation" was originally set to be released in December, but Paramount decided that July is a lot better to avoid the premieres of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" and "James Bond: Spectre."

Over the weekend, "Mission Impossible - Rogue Nation" already garnered $56M and is being shown at 3,956 theaters worldwide. It generated the second highest grossing weekend in the "Mission Impossible" series.
