Game composers Arnie Roth and Hitoshi Sakimoto confirmed that "Final Fantasy XII" remake is finally coming.

On the Final Fantasy Network fan news website, a recording of "Distant Worlds: Music From Final Fantasy" concert by conductor Roth was posted over the weekend. The website added that the concert was held in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Distant Worlds is a live concert series showcasing Final Fantasy's music.

Roth said that "FFXII" remake is now under development and will be out soon, according to Kotaku. However, game developer Square Enix did not confirm the information from the video. Roth made an explicit reference to a "remake" and the game developer company is also known for its "Final Fantasy" remaking habit.

Aside from "FFXII", there will be a remake for "Final Fantasy VII", which Square Enix announced during the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2015 and "Final Fantasy Type-0" is now on its way PC Gamer reported.

"FFXII" has introduced a controllable camera, smooth battle system, a customizable "gambit" system that allows player to control automatically the actions of characters; and a "license" system that finds out which abilities and equipment are used by characters.

In 2006, Square Enix launched "Final Fantasy XII" for the PlayStation 2 in Japan and North America, while Europe finally received the game in 2007 in. Since then, the 12th version of the game has not been updated or ported forward to any console or platform.

Currently, there are no details about the system, another set of tweaks to the game, or even the release date. There is no detail as well if the game will have PC version.
