Kate Mara and Michael B. Jordan cleverly responded to the tough questions in a recent interview about their characters in Josh Trank's forthcoming "Fantastic Four."

Mara is playing the role of Sue Storm while Jordan is playing the role of Johnny Storm, Sue's brother, in Trank's upcoming "Fantastic Four." In their interview with Steven J. Rickman of Rock 100.5 Morning Show promoting their forthcoming film, Mara and Jordan were asked about how their characters could possibly be related, given that they are of dissimilar races.

While Rickman's query was viewed with quite an offensive touch, Jordan was able to respond with confidence, according to Buzzfeed. The actor said that despite of racial differences, his and Mara's characters could be brought up as siblings, with the belief that there were family subtleties that exist without the "obvious adoption."

Jordan has faced a number of similar questions about him playing the role of The Human Torch, who is an originally-white superhero, as per USA Today. For the actor, how his and Mara's characters does not hugely impact the film.

Rickman also asked Mara about her new haircut. When the interviewer questioned the actress why she cut her hair, Mara said that as an actress, she had to be like a chameleon, indicating that she has to demonstrate flexibility in the film industry. Following the hair topic, Rickman also gave compliment to Mara's toes.

Aside from Mara playing the Invisible Woman and Jordan playing The Human Torch in Trank's film, "Fantastic Four" also stars Miles Teller as Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic, Jamie Bell as Ben Grimm/The Thing, and Toby Kebbell as the villain Doctor Doom.

Trank's "Fantastic Four" is set to premiere in theaters in the United States on Aug. 5 while a sequel is set to be released on June 9, 2017.
