The world's Formula One legend superstar Michael Schumacher and wife Corinna celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary.

The couple got married twice, a civil wedding on Aug 1, 1995 at Kerpen and 4 days after, they took a chapel wedding.

"It's because we shared the same values...During all the time I was racing she was my guardian angel," Schumacher said.

The racer previously said that he and his wife never had any serious arguments through the journey of their marriage. He also added that it is not easy to find a partner who will unconditionally adapt to the pace of his life, Mirror reported.

Supporters and media member are trying hard to get updates on Schumacher's condition and Corinna was able to manage to keep her family's privacy. After Schumacher's tragic accident and major head operation in 2013, she declared a total media blackout. Schumacher and Corinna have two children, Mick, 14 and Gina Marie, 16.

According to Express, the couple met at the Ferrari party. Corinna had a boyfriend that time, but they fell in love with each other. Corinna is an equestrian champion and loves raising horse. Schumacher bought her a ranch in Texas on their 10th wedding anniversary, which she turned into a multi-million dollar business through a western-style riding.

Schumacher, the seven-time Formula One Champion, was reportedly doing a very good recovery. He could also live a normal life sooner with the loving support of his wife. His skiing accident happened in Meribel Resort, France in December 2013, which put him in coma state for 19 months now.
