Has the Islamic State (IS) run out of ideas how to kill its prisoners? Or is it because Jihadi John is allegedly hiding for fear of his life that members of the terrorist organization are turning to new ways to kill its detainees?

After decapitating, shooting, stoning and burning them alive, the IS made 10 prisoners in Afghanistan kneel on bombs and then detonated the explosives. The 10 men were accused of apostasy for rejecting the religion of Islam, reports The New York Daily News.

Before the carnage, a video  shows several jihadists digging holes in the ground and wiring bombs on the soil. They then covered the explosive with dirt. The blindfolded prisoners were seen marching to the site and then sat on the ground as they were forced to confess the crimes they have been accused of.

However, the video is no longer available on YouTube but could still be viewed in The New York Daily News. Daily Mail notes that the video was heavily choreographed with horse-riding fighters galloping on green hills during an early foggy morning to make it appear more dramatic.

The IS fighters then ran as fast as they could from the hillside to avoid being hit by the explosives which went off and killed the kneeling prisoners.

The 10 prisoners were likely members of the Shinwari tribe, which was accused by the IS of helping the Talibans in Nangarhar, an Afghan province that recently expelled the IS.
