Japanese video game developer and publisher Square Enix will be launching a simultaneous release of "Final Fantasy XV" all over the world, according to game's director Hajime Tabata.

Tabata said that it is the first time that the company will be doing a full global release, unlike previous Final Fantasy installments that were released first in Japan and exported to other countries after. All the works for the game was done at the studio, revealing that the structure and core systems are 80 percent complete, IGN reported. Game’s director is confident that “Final Fantasy XV” is on the right track for release in 2016.

"Final Fantasy XV" becomes the first major entry in the "Final Fantasy" series that will be simultaneous released around the globe, where the game trying to break historic ground.

The game is set in a huge and open world. It is an adjacent landmass across where players will be able to walk, drive, or take the train. There is also a possibility that gamers can take an airship across "Final Fantasy XV," but it could be saved for DLC, according to iDigitalTimes. Tabata assures that the game’s plot will stand up on its own against the test of time in both directions.

Gamers can expect “Final Fantasy XV” to be released next year for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Tabata also made a revelation last week that the game will be borrowing the technology from Just Cause 3.

Tabata will make more information and announcement about the “Final Fantasy XV” at the Penny Arcade Expo (PAX) Prime at the end of the month.
