Anna Kendrick once again affirmed her star power with the young crowd, sweeping away four coveted honors at the 2015 Teen Choice Awards.
The theater enthusiast-turned-favorite film actress won Choice Movie Actress for comedy, Choice Movie Chemistry with Brittany Snow, and Choice Movie Hissy Fit, all for "Pitch Perfect 2," Teen Choice announced. "Pitch Perfect 2" also romped away with the Choice Movie award for comedy.
The "Pitch Perfect" star expressed how the young audiences who voted definitely "know how to spoil a girl," to which fans responded that they were happy for Kendrick's multiple wins, asthe awards, online fans commented, are well-deserved. Kendrick tweeted beforehand that she is really proud of the chemistry that she and her 29-year-old "Pitch Perfect 2" co-star Brittany Snow have.
Kendrick bagged recognition at the Teen Choice Awards years ago. In 2010, she won Choice Movie: Female Scene Stealer and shared the Most Fanatic Fans award with the cast members of "The Twilight Saga: New Moon."
The "Into the Woods" actress has always showcased impressive vocal range and acting skill that have gotten the nod of critics, directors and fans way before she became one of the leads of "Pitch Perfect." Scripts of well-crafted movies like the drama-comedy film "Up in the Air" were written with Kendrick in mind.
Kendrick remained hot commodity as part of an ensemble cast of a string of box-office successes that include the "Twilight" flicks. It is the "Pitch Perfect" movies, though, that catapulted her to one of the most adored singer-actresses of Hollywood. Her smart, spontaneous posts in social media have attracted even more fans to her fold.
In other news, "Pitch Perfect 2" stars took to Instagram and Twitter to confirm that "Pitch Perfect 3" is happening, and has a July 2017 release date, Us Weekly reported.
This news was received with much excitement by adulating fans of the "Pitch Perfect" lead stars who are looking forward to the next instalment of the musical-comedy movie.
