The Google Nexus 2015 smartphones, LG Nexus 5 (2015) and Huawei Nexus 6 (2015) are arriving in last quarter of 2015. However, it will be facing fierce competition from cheaper and powerful alternates such as the Lumia 950 XL, Xiaomi Mi5 Plus and Moto X Style.

The LG Nexus 5 (2015) and the Huawei Nexus 6 (2015) handsets will be coming with common features like the front-facing speakers, USB Type-C connector and fingerprint sensor. The LG model will feature a full HD 5.2-inch display and polycarbonate chassis with metal frame whereas the Huawei variant will arrive with a 5.7-inch Quad HD display fitted on a metal unibody, Phone Arena reported.

The LG Nexus 5 (2015) will be a cheaper device around $350 to $400 and Huawei Nexus 6 (2015) will be a premium flagship that wills costly price tag like last year's Google Nexus 6. There are three good feature-rich and cheaper alternatives like the Microsoft Lumia 950 XL, the Xiaomi Mi5 Plus and the Moto X Style instead of purchasing the upcoming Google Nexus 2015 smartphone.

Microsoft Lumia 950 XL

Xiaomi Mi5 Plus

Xiaomi Mi5 Plus will be the large-sized edition of the forthcoming Xiaomi Mi5 flagship. It will be a phablet device with a 5.7-inch Quad HD screen and will be powered by the Snapdragon 820 chip and 4 GB of RAM, Venture Capital Post reported.

The Xiaomi Mi5 Plus will feature Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with MIUI 7 software. It will be available in 16 GB and 64 GB internal storage versions. The Mi5 Plus will also carry support for expandable storage. Some of the other Xiaomi Mi5 Plus features include a 24 MP rear camera, 13 MP selfie camera, a fingerprint scanner and a 3,500 mAh battery.

Motorola Moto X Pure Edition

The Moto X Style will be coming to the United States with Moto X Pure Edition moniker on Sept.3. The handset will be arriving with 5.7-inch Quad HD display and water repellant chassis.  It will be powered by Snapdragon 808 chip and 3 GB of RAM.
