Sony releases a line of limited edition "Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain" devices in Japan. Devices with Metal Gear Solid 5 theme include phone, tablet, and Walkman.

The walkman that carries the title’s branding is a rebranded version of the expensive ZX2 Walkman and it costs around $1100, Ubergizmo reported. It features an Outer Heaven logo which is engraved on the back and a leather case.

ZX2 Walkman has 128GB of internal storage, with impressive quality versions of the Snake Eater theme, Sins of the Father, Heaven's Divide, Quiet's Theme, and four other vocal tracks, as well as copies of HD songs from the title and original packaging. The Walkman has also a 32GB internal storage version at a price of around $230. It features only Quiet's Theme and Sins of the Father.

Aside from the ZX2 Walkman, the Japanese electronics giant also launches Xperia J1 Compact: The Phantom Pain Edition. It features a Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz and 2GB of RAM with 16GB memory expandable via microSD.

The smartphone has a 4.3-inch HD display screen, a 20.7MP camera, and 2300mAh battery. Sony Xperia J1 Compact: The Phantom Pain Edition is available at around $480. It features two original sound tracks, a custom ringtone, and a preloaded wallpaper to match its theme.

Sony is also selling Xperia Z4 and Xperia Z3 Compact tablets with "Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain." They cost around $450 and $680 respectively. Metal Gear Solid 5 case, pre-installed wallpaper, Quiet's Theme and Sins of the Father, a digital art book, and a coupon to buy "Metal Gear Solid" items are all included in the two tablets, according to Gamespot.

Fans of the game and Sony can purchase these devices when the sale starts on Sept. 2. However, XZ2 Walkman will go on sale at the end of the same month.
