The "Straight Outta Compton" sequel is reportedly titled "Dogg Pound 4 Life" and picking up where N.W.A. left off, it will focus on the careers of Snoop Dogg, the late Tupac Shakur, Suge Knight, Nate Dogg, Warren G, and Tha Dogg Pound duo Kurupt and Daz Dillinger.

Dillinger told TMZ that the "Straight Outta Compton" sequel will not whitewash gang violence and its impact on the rap industry while it focuses on Tha Dogg Pound's music.

While there are still no details about the cast of the "Straight Outta Compton" sequel but Dr. Dre's son Curtis Young is said to be in it.

In "Straight Outta Compton," Shakur is played by Marcc Rose while another actor voices the late musician. During the premiere of the film, Rose told USA Today that he gets stopped on the street for looking like Shakur.

Directed by F. Gary Gray, "Straight Outta Compton" stars O'Shea Jackson Jr. as Ice Cube, Corey Hawkins as Dr. Dre, Jason Mitchell as Eazy-E, Neil Brown Jr. as DJ Yella, Aldis Hodge as MC Ren, Marlon Yates Jr. as The D.O.C., Paul Giamatti as Jerry Heller, Mark Sherman as Jimmy Iovine and Og Blood as Michael "Compton Menace" Taylor, among others.

Released on Aug. 14, "Straight Outta Compton" also starred Keith Stanfield as Snoop Dogg, R. Marcos Taylor as Knight, Sheldon A. Smith as Warren G. and Joshua Brockington as young Warren G.

Gary also appeared in the film as Greg Mack. The screenplay was written by Andrea Berloff and Jonathan Herman.
