Marvel head Jeph recently claimed that "Jessica Jones" and "Daredevil" are different from each other.

"Jessica Jones" showrunner Melissa Rosenberg also talked about the upcoming season of the Netflix series.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Rosenberg said that the series will kick off with Jessica already working as a private investigator. She added that there will also be some episodes and scenes wherein Jessica will be depicted as a superhero.

Meanwhile, Loeb spoke with Screen Rant about the differences between the two Netflix series.

According to him, "Daredevil" is primarily a crime drama first and then a superhero show. Whereas "Jessica Jones" is a psychological thriller first and then a superhero show.

"What you get out of 'Jessica' is a sort of hold-your-breath tension as to what's going to happen. When you see the dynamic between Krysten Ritter and David Tennant... that question of 'What's going to happen next?' and 'What could happen next?' and how that's driven by the character is something that is so important..." he said.

Loeb added that "Jessica Jones" is more mature in terms of storyline and the series will tackle day to day issues and abuse stories.

Ritter will play the role of Jessica on "Jessica Jones." The "Breaking Bad" alum will be joined by her co-stars, Mike Colter, who will play the role of Luke Cage, Tennant as Kilgrave, Carrie Anne Moss as Harper and Erin Moriarty as Hope.

"Jessica Jones" will premiere on Netflix sometime in this year.
