"Dance Moms" season 5 alum Cathy Nesbitt-Stein recently expressed her desire to return to the Lifetime series for its upcoming sixth season.

If Nesbitt-Stein will return to "Dance Moms" season 6, the choreographer said that she wants to be able to teach dances to her students.

"Because of the time-frame of the show, when they were filming in Ohio, they would typically come from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and then I would work at the studio from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. You're seeing the girls learn their dance, but they're not learning it or cleaning it up in its entirety. There's a lot of behind the scenes rehearsal and I could not do that late at night," she said.

Nesbitt-Stein also revealed that her exit from the show didn't have anything to do with issues she had with coach Abby Lee Miller. Instead, she decided to leave "Dance Moms" after the first half of the season because of her other business.

Meanwhile, fans of Nesbitt-Stein and her daughter Vivi Anne have been clamouring for a "Dance Moms" spinoff, wherein the two would become lead stars.

Talking about this opportunity, she said, "Oh my gosh, in a heartbeat. If that's the direction that they wanted to go because then I know I have to film in Ohio. I don't know Abby would let that happen though," she said.

"Dance Moms" season 6 will premiere on Lifetime next year.
