Swift took home the Moonman for video of the year, and debuted her ardently awaited video for "Wildest Dreams." After getting into a substantial Twitter dispute last month the "Bad Blood," songstress and Nicki Minaj performed together at 2015 VMAs. While Minaj opened the awards show with "Trini Dem Girls," Swift joined her on stage and they performed together as reported by Eonline.
Minaj's "Anaconda" won the prize for hip-hop video of the year. She called Cyrus a "bitch" live onstage. The rapper thanked her supporters and one of her mentor during her acceptance speech. Then rapper took a dig at the Cyrus while accepting the award for Best Hip-Hop music video for her hit "Anaconda," as reported by The Washington Post.
Justin Bieber cried after performing "What Do You Mean?" The 22-year-old pop star kicked off his performance with his Skrillex-Diplo collaboration "Where Are U Now." As his performance was concluding; he put his hands over his face, and broke down into tears.
West accepted the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. Swift presented the award show's highest accolade to West. The duo Joked about well-known VMAs moment from 2009, when he interrupted her acceptance speech.
West delivered a memorable acceptance speech with a surprise declaration that he is running for president in 2020.
Cyrus ended the event with surprise news: She announced the free release of her new album, "Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz."
