iPad Air 3 and iPad Mini 4 release will probably come at Apple's event on Sept. 9 as iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3 discounts were spotted in various US-based retailers.
US electronics retailer Best Buy is selling the different storage variants of iPad Air 2 this week by slashing up to $100 off the price. The 128GB Cellular iPad Air 2 received $100 discount, while the WiFi models received $50 to $75 price cut.
Amazon also offers discounted iPad Air 2 models. The 16GB Cellular iPad Air 2 is offered for $519.95, while the WiFi version is available for $423.49.
The third generation of miniature version of iPad also received solid discounts as price cut up to $100 were spotted in Best Buy. Thus, consumers can grab the 64GB and 128GB Cellular iPad Mini 3 for $529.99 and $629.99, respectively.
B&H Photo also offers some discounts on iPad Mini 3, including the best price seen so far. The 16GB WiFi iPad Mini 3 is offered for $409.95.
A price cut is an indication that new devices are coming as retailers are exhausting remaining stocks of previous iPads and maximizing profits.
Meanwhile, iPad Air 3 rumored features include: 9.7 inch Retina display with 4:3 aspect ratio, A9 processor, iOS 9, 16GB, 64GB, and 128GB variants, and 8 MP iSight camera at the back and 2.1 MP front-facing camera.
iPad Mini 4, on the other hand, will pack slightly inferior specs and features, including 7.9 inch screen display, A8 processor, iOS 9, 16GB, 64GB, and 128GB variants, and 8 MP iSight camera at the back and 2.1 MP front-facing camera.
However, Apple has not announced whether it will release the iPad Air 3 and iPad Mini 4 next week.
