The power of YouTube to shame a male Welsh headmaster and female Chemistry teacher was demonstrated again. As a result, the two educators were force to quit from the Bryntawe Comprehensive School in Swansea, South Wales.

A male student who heard moaning in the office of 51-year-old Graham Daniels, the headmaster, used his smartphone and caught on audio the headmaster having sex with 37-year-old Bethan Thomas, the teacher, reports The Telegraph.

A female student, the first one to hear the noise, was outside Daniels office waiting for her parents to pick her up when she heard the moaning. She just finished an after-school French lesson. She was embarrassed by what she heard and moved outside the school to wait for her parents, reports Mirror.

But the boy captured the audio of the love-making session through the door and posted the 30-second video on Facebook which other students shared on YouTube. Daniels was informed of what the boy did and asked him to delete the video, which the student complied.

The school received complaints which lead to the Cardiff disciplinary hearing. School governors and education from the Education Workforce Committee studied the video.

The lovers were accused of engaging in sexual acts and inappropriate behavior with another member on school premises. Had they not resigned, the couple could have been removed from the registry of teachers.

The love affair of Daniels and Thomas have been known in the school, according to the presenting officer, Louise Price. It was confirmed by Susan Lewis, an attendance officer, who said she saw the two kissing in the headmaster's office. Lewis said the two kissed while standing against the door to prevent people from coming in. The incident happened around three times, Lewis said.

Even the students, who passed around the sex scandal video from one smartphone to another and shared it in social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter, said they have seen the two in a McDonald's restaurant. The students were told, in a special assembly, to ignore the video and instead concentrate on their exams. The school banned the students from discussing the video on social media because it damages the institution's reputation.
