The "Bad Blood" singer Taylor Swift finally transcends Kim Kardashian's number of followers on Instagram as of Sep. 8, Tuesday.
It turns out that the world domination by Taylor Swift continues after all. The 25-year old singer and composer has been ranked third; she followed the rank of Beyonce Knowles who is consistently in the number two spot.
She has now over 45.5 million followers compared to Kardashian's 45.4 million. According to Us Magazine, the pop and country singer also tops Vanity Fair's "Powers That Be" list. She has beaten power players, including Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer and Hillary Clinton.
The singer has made her first appearance on the said list after she used a platform that made giant companies such as Apple and Spotify to conform to her will, as per Vanity Fair. According to them, on the singer instagram her fans are informed that her friend Kanye West had sent her a massive bouquet of white roses. Swift was the one to present West with the Video Vanguard Award at last Sunday's awards show.
Swift was ecstatic about the floral missive, pairing her photo of the bouquet with the hashtag #KanTay2020 and taking the opportunity to announce her candidacy for vice president when West will be the next candidate for the United State's president.
Swift though still has to address the raise of her Instagram followers and her being on the third spot as the most followed. Meanwhile, after Kardashian reached 45 million followers last week, she, naturally, shared another sexy snap of her, which attracted more followers.
