Considering the recent announcement of the Android Marshmallow operating system, many tech experts speculate that the two new Nexus devices will run on the latest Android operating system. Previous leaks have already revealed some the devices' hardware specs which include a fingerprint scanner.

Tech analysts are also excited about the rumored Android Pay which is expected to be integrated on the Android Marshmallow operating system and is speculated as one of the key selling feature of the upcoming Nexus devices. Android Pay is Google's own take in the mobile and contactless payment system, a sort of answer to the already released Apple Pay.

The two upcoming Nexus devices were made by two different manufacturers. Google dropped Motorola and instead sided with LG to create the Nexus 5, while the larger 2015 Nexus 6 will be manufactured by Chinese company Huawei, according to Forbes.

Rumors claim that the LG Nexus 5 2015 will have a 5.2-inch full HD display screen. At its heart is the Snapdragon 620 chipset from Qualcomm. The device is expected to ship with 4GB of internal memory, 64GB of storage space and a 3180mAh battery pack.

The Huawei-built 2016 Nexus 6 is rumored to sport a bigger 5.7-inch display screen with Quad HD resolution. The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor. Memory and storage space are believed to be the same as that of the smaller Nexus 5 from LG
