Square Enix has revealed new details for the upcoming "Final Fantasy XV" video game regarding new types of magic, an official forum page and the possible map size within the game.
"Final Fantasy XV" director Hajime Tabata explained in an interview that there will be two types of magic within the game and unlike previous Final Fantasy titles there are certain conditions that they must follow.
Magic in "Final Fantasy XV" can be used by letting the players wear magic rings on each character to perform regular magic attacks like Fire, Ice, Protect, Ensuna etc.
The second magic type is only exclusive to the Lucis Family like Noctis and his father, King Regis. The only power that both characters exhibit in "Final Fantasy XV" is the ability to summon large amounts of weapons at their disposal and gamers have not yet seen the full extent of their true powers, GeekSnack reported.
Square Enix has updated their website and officially opened "Final Fantasy XV's" forum section as they are both available in the English and Japanese language. Gaming fans can now freely discuss their opinions, updates and theories about the game.
In other news, In other news, the full size details of “Final Fantasy XV’s” in-game map have been revealed online. Square Enix stated that the map in the "Episode Duscae" demo is a small chunk compared to the actual map size within "Final Fantasy XV".
The Japanese game publisher recently revealed the driving features for" Final Fantaxy XV" that allows gamers to drive the Regalia, and travel to many places within the game. Tabata explained that the driving feature was inspired by road movies and gamers can relate to each character in the game as they go on with their journey.
The road distance in the game can factor how many miles can they travel to a certain area as gamers will discover how big "FFXV's" map really is.
The estimated size of the game's map is said to be at 2,036.3 square kilomoters, which is 786.4 square miles. That is bigger than the maps found in games like "The Witcher 3" and "Grand Theft Auto 5", Dualshockers reported.
"Final Fantasy XV" will be released sometime in 2016 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.
