'Kingdom Hearts 3' Release Date In Winter 2016; 'Kingdom Hearts 2.9' Coming To PS3, PS4

Good news to gamers as "Kingdom Hearts 3" release date is on winter 2016 and "Kingdom Hearts 2.9" is coming to PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 consoles.

Both titles were planned since August 2014 until June as the developer is working "Kingdom Hearts 2.9's" idea planning and documentation, Boss planning, game check and balance and its attraction flow, KH13 reported.

The "Kingdom Hearts 3" plans revealed new game details such as Gummi ship system, multiplayer gameplay and scheduled meetings from both Disney and Pixar. "Kingdom Hearts 3" director Tetsuya Nomura stated that his team just finished the "ground foundations" for the game and that Square Enix is currently working on new features such as new mini-games, Disney worlds and summons.

Nomura also explained the many difficulties of making "Kingdom Hearts 3" in the new consoles as they have a higher quality compared to the previous handheld games.

Game developer Square Enix has been busy developing "Kingdom Hearts 3" alongside "Final Fantasy XV" as they will showcase new gameplay features at the D23 Expo in Japan on Nov. 6-7.

Three Disney worlds have already appeared in "Kingdom Hearts 3" such as "Tangled", "Hercules" and "Big Hero 6", while other worlds like "Wreck-It Ralph", "Brave" and "Frozen" are still up for debate. There is also the possibility that both "Marvel" and "Star Wars" worlds could be included in the game as "Kingdom Hearts 3" co-director Tai Yasue hinted that it could happen since both franchises are owned by Disney, Franchise Herald reported

Square Enix will likely announced the official release date of "Kingdom Hearts 3" at the D23 Expo event in Japan; However, YouTuber gledson Azevedo posted a video of what appeared to be a closed presentation for "Kingdom Hearts 3" during the E3 2015 event three months. The video ends with the game's launch date allegedly in winter 2016.
