Marvel Studios and director James Gunn scrapped a possible name for an alien race in the upcoming Marvel Comics film "Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2."

Gunn shared his thoughts about the use of character names in a status on his official Facebook account. According to the director, he was advised not to name one of the alien species "Sneepers" in his forthcoming "Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2," since "sneeper" is a word for clitoris in Iceland.

According to Comic Book, the Sneepers had a triad of pectoral muscles and the female species had three breasts. The publication also mentioned that the aforementioned alien race might be linked to the "Triple-Breasted Whore of Erocticon Six," known as Eccentrica Gallumbitis.

Gunn also said that he liked to use the names of the characters from the pages of the comic book as much as possible, since it would be fun to watch the movie that way. The director added that he had to consult every name he uses through the Marvel legal department, since Fox or Sony could be the studio that owns the right to the name. Also, he believed that it was a nuisance when he could not use a name.

While Sneepers to exist, the release of the film in Iceland could lead to the change of the Sneepers' name in "Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2," as per Cinema Blend. The publication mentioned that this element is usual for huge Hollywood films that are released in various areas of the world.

"Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2" stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper (voice), Vin Diesel (voice), Sean Gunn, Karen Gillan, and Michael Rooker, among others.

Gunn's "Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2" is set to hit theaters in the United States on May 5, 2017.
