New "Mortal Kombat X" details have been revealed regarding four new characters for "Kombat Pack 2" and its rumored launch date next year.

The first "Kombat Pack" DLC for "Mortal Kombat X" has been a huge success for gaming fans as it featured two guest characters, Jason Voorhees of "Friday the 13th" and the Predator from the "Predator" film franchise, as well as, lesser known Mortal Kombat fighters like Tanya and Tremor.

NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. have official announced that a "Kombat Pack 2" will be in the works as "Mortal Kombat" creator Ed Boon has teased gaming fans on the possible characters and features that will be present in the latest DLC.

Gaming fans have speculated that list of possible characters to be included in the Kombat Pack 2 DLC include Fujin, Kabal, Bo'Rai Cho, Rain, Sindel, Smoke and Baraka since they were all featured "Mortal Kombat X's" main story mode.

A new set of characters have been revealed as potential DLC characters such as Sektor, Cyrax, Noob Saibot, The Joker, Elvira, Indian Jones and Neo, Screenrant reported. Other names like Rorschach, Ash William, Marcus Fenix and Spawn are also being considered as potential DLC fighters for "Kombat Pack 2".

Boon confirmed that the "Kombat Pack 2" will contain four playable characters and with a huge list names, NetherRealm Studios will have a hard time picking which of these characters is suited for the new DLC.

Aside from the possible DLC characterds, the "Kombat Pack 2" will likely feature old school "Mortal Kombat" stages as Boon teased that one these arenas could be "The Pit".

The first DLC featured several alternate and classic costumes for characters like Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Sonya, Liu Kang, Kano etc.

Warner Bros. stated that "Kombat Pack 2" will likely be launch sometime in the early months of 2016 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms, CrossMaps reported.

"Mortal Kombat X" is currently available in stores worldwide for the PS4, Xbox One and for the PC.
