Actress Jamie Chung will reprise her role as Mulan in the fifth season of "Once Upon A Time," adding more twist to its thrilling story arc.

She discovered that Aurora (Sarah Bolger), the love of her life, was pregnant with Prince Philip's (Julian Morris) baby.

Chung was officially welcomed by showrunner Adam Horowitz in a tweet.

AfterEllen reported that the actress was asked last year if she was interested to return and Chung was very vocal about her interest to come back. She said that it would be disheartening to leave the fans hanging about Mulan's fate.

She added that as much as she was committed to her new show, she's also not closing her doors to being Mulan again.

She also said that the next time she comes back she wants more depth to Mulan's character. Chung explained that she would like to see more character development and find something she could really sink her teeth into.

It looks like the actress will get her wish as she will appear on both halves of the season as seen in Horowitz's reply to a fan question.

Horowitz also teased that "Nimue," is the title of the seventh episode of season 5. The word means "Lady of the Lake" which was the name of the episode where Mulan appeared back in season 2.

Season 5 of "Once Upon a Time" returns on Sunday, September 27 on ABC.
