A new photo of the 2015 Google Nexus 5 from LG is making rounds in the tech community after it was leaked online. While previous leaks highlighted the smartphone's black and white colors, the new leaked photo showcases the phone's new mint color.

The leaked photograph was posted online by the South Korean blog site UnderKG. It shows that phones back and front panel. While the front panels shows no new feature, the back panel highlights the new mint color. The leaked photo did not show the phone's camera and fingerprint scanner but displayed the Nexus and LG logo.

Many tech experts were skeptical about the mint color. Some argue that there might be an issue with the white balance of the camera that was used to snap the photo.

According to CNet, Google is scheduled for a major event on Sept. 29 in San Francisco. While the tech giant did not reveal what will happen on the event, many were speculating that Google is setting the stage to unveil the two new Nexus devices; one from LG and the other one from Huawei.

Rumors and leaks have all pointed to a possible 5.2-inch display screen for the 2015 Google Nexus 5. The device is believed to support full HD resolution. For its chipset, the Snapdragon 808 from Qualcomm is currently on top of every tech experts list. Rumors also point to a possible 3GB internal memory.

For its storage, the 2015 Google Nexus 5 will come in two variants; 16GB and 32GB. The phone also sports a 12.3-megapixel rear facing main camera. Additional features include USB Type-C support and a 2,700mAh battery pack.
