Previously, Boon teased about the next DLC showing four playable characters. While there is little information about the characters, Boon may have inadvertently revealed the upcoming fighters.

Director Boon hinted through stills posted on Twitter that both Sektor and Alien may be among the characters set to feature in the game, Neurogadget reported. The post seemed to be distorted photos from the film "Straight Outta Compton" by Universal Pictures, and it depicted Sektor and Alien in different posters labeled "Straight Outta KP2." The publication added that KP2 could imply "Kombat Pack 2."

Fans can only get a surety by waiting for the official announcement from the studios. An endless list of names of characters meant to appear in "Kombat Pack 2" should make it difficult for Nether Realm to make a choice of the most suitable ones for the game.

On the other hand, Screenrant also made guesses on the possible characters to feature in the next DLC. According to the report, Baraka will be among the characters as indicated by the silhouette image provided in other reports.

Furthermore, DC's Joker could be among the characters in the upcoming game.

"Mortal Kombat X" DLC pack 2 will come out in 2016, but the game is currently accessible in PS4, Xbox One, mobile devices, and PC.
