"Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D." Seaosn 3 will have an Asgardian helping the team in episode 2 and a rumored Inhuman character will be introduced in the show.

The full plot details for "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 3 episode 2 has been revealed and it will involve Leo Fitz (Iain De Caestecker) recruiting an Asgardian to help him save his best friend/teammate Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge), from the Kree Monolith that absorbed her during the season 2 finale, ComicBook reported.

Simmons disappearance within S.H.I.E.L.D.'s ranks will be the basis for sub-plot of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 3, as Chloe Bennet stated in an interview that only Fitz can save Simmon's from the Kree Monolith, while everyone else has given up on her due to the many threats around the world, and not to mention the growing Inhuman phenomena.

Fitz will receive help from an Asgaradian character, but did not disclosed who that person is. Fan speculated that the Asgaradian could be Lady Sif (Jaime Alexander) as she appeared twice in the show within season 1 and 2; however, it was also speculated that the Asgardian could be Elliot Randolph (Peter MacNicol), because Lady Sif was never publicized during the episode's promotion, Hypable reported.

Elliot first appeared in the season 1 episode "The Well" as Asgardian masquerading as a normal person living among human society. Elliot is also the keeper of the Asgardian berserker staff, which was used by both Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen) and Grant Ward (Brett Dalton) on several occasions.

In other news, a new Inhuman character is rumored to appear in "Agents of S..H.I.E.L.D." season 3 as YouTube channel Emergency Awesome speculated that Kamala Khan/ Ms. Marvel will likely show up sometime in the show.

Kamala Khan was heavily hinted by both Marvel Studios and ABC due the character's popularity among the fans and with season 3's theme of more Inhumans showing up, it would make sense to add the new Ms. Marvel in the show.

In the Marvel comics, Kamala Khan was revealed to be an Inhuman after the Terrigen Mist spread throughout Jersey City, forcing her to undergo Terrigenesis. She soon developed powers such shape shifting and a healing factor. She took on the Ms. Marvel mantle in honor of her idol Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel.

Season 3 will focus on people with Inhuman-like powers whom Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg), Daisy Johnson/Quake (Bennet) and the rest of the team are tasked to find, protect and possibly recruit them within there ranks.

"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 3 will premiere on September 29 on ABC.
