Genndy Tartakovsky's upcoming animated comedy film "Hotel Transylvania 2" is not assumed to perform well in the box office.

While "Hotel Transylvannia 2" is not predicted to top the box office following its release, it is predicted that the animated film will still be a hit to families due to its light tone and comical approach. Tartakovsky's film has no critic reviews yet, leaving it with no rating, according to Rotten Tomatoes.

The absence of online reviews despite "Hotel Transylvania 2's" upcoming theatrical release is not an impressive position to start and is an indication of a profound concern for the film, according to Cinema Blend.

Released on Sept. 28, 2012, Tartakovsky's "Hotel Transylvania" has got an estimated domestic gross of $148 million dollars and an approximate foreign gross of $210 million, for a total of an estimated gross of $358 million worldwide.

"Hotel Transylvania 2" is the sequel to Tartakovsky's "Hotel Transyvlvania." It follows Dracula and his friends as they try to bring out the monster in his half-vampire half-human grandson to keep his daughter Mavis from leaving the titular hotel.

With Tartakovsky in the director's seat, "Pixels" actor Adam Sandler and "Louie" writer Robert Smigel are on board to pen the film script. Meanwhile, Allen Covert, Skyle Lyons, Michelle Murdocca, and ben Waisbren are set to co-produce the film.

"Hotel Transylvania 2" features the voices of Jonny Solomon, Mel Brooks, Nick Offerman, Molly Shannon, Fran Drescher, Keegan-Michael Key, David Spade, Steve Buscemi, Kevin James, Andy Samberg, Selena Gomez, and Sandler.

Directed by Tartakovsky, "Hotel Transylvania 2" is slated to premiere in theaters in the United States on Sept. 25. Watch the trailer here:
