"Sherlock" actor Benedict Cumberbatch has filled in pretty serious roles, but he has stripped down to his humble, charming self in Jimmy Kimmel's show.

According to TIME, Cumberbatch has appeared on Kimmel's segment called "Mean Tweets" where Hollywood actors are invited to the show and read real mean tweets about them on air.

This episode has been very special since this is the first time they will be doing this segment with live guests. Kimmel invited Jeff Bridges and Kristen Bell together with Cumberbatch, according to Mashable.

Bridges was the first one to read out his mean tweet that read, "Am now convinced Jeff Bridges is a crazy f**ker and not in a cool way, just in a disturbed hobo shouting at sparrows and sidewalks way."

Bell came in second and read her mean tweet.

"Kristel Bell seems like such a bitch, her vagina is probably an Alcatraz for penis," wrote @CUZNGEORGE.

Finally, Cumberbatch stepped out as the show's final guest. "12 Years a Slave" actor read out his mean tweet that said, "If you find Benedict Cumberbatch attractive, I'm guessing you'd also quite enjoy starring directly at a cat's anus."

Cumberbatch was quite amused by the tweet and laughed about it. However, "The Imitation Game" actor responded with a good comeback and said, "Well, someone did [find him attractive] and she put a ring on it," while showing off his ring finger.

Cumberbatch is currently filming "Jungle Book: Origins" that is expected to launch on 2017. He has also finished shooting "Black Mass," "The Hollow Crown" and "Sherlock."
