EA Games confirmed that "Battlefield Hardline" will be available for free in EA Access service.

EA Games tweeted that the first-person shooter video game can be accessed in the said gaming service. In addition, the gaming brand's fans continue to pin for the possible service expansion of EA Access to other video game platforms.

In EA Access' The Vault, a virtual library of the best XBOX games, gamers will be given a chance to play the action-packed video game as long as they want if they stay subscribed to "EA Access." According to Cinema Blend, "Battlefield Hardline" will be joining other well-known games such as "Battlefield 4," "Madden NFL 15," "NHL 15" and "Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare."

While EA Games' announcement was considered good news to gamers, more video game enthusiasts continue to hope that the gaming service will also be available in other gaming platforms.

Despite fans' persistent requests, EA Games revealed that the company has no plans to expand their service. According to Polygon, EA chief operations officer Peter Moore reportedly dismissed any discussion about a PlayStation partnership in an interview. Rumors pointed out that Sony, PlayStation's company, had voiced out negative feedback regarding the EA Access.

Exclusively available for Xbox One users, EA Access cost $5 a month or $30 per year. Aside from offering a collection of the best Xbox games, the service features game previews of EA Sports titles before they are even officially released.

Before "Battlefield Hardline" became a hit, there are a lot of complaints about the said video game. Some gamers reportedly stated that it was just a version of "Battlefield 4" with a $60 price tag. Others pointed out in various reports that it was only utilizing the popularity of other games such as "GTA V" and "Payday 2."

In time, "Battlefield Hardline" was able to pull off favorable responses after users discovered different modes and challenges that include gamers to chasing down speeding vehicles.

"Battlefield Hardline" will be available in the subscription service in October.
