The latest "Suits" season 5 episode 11 spoilers suggest that Mike's (Patrick J. Adams) arrest was orchestrated by Rachel's (Meghan Markle) parents. They reportedly found out about his secret and decided to have him arrested to protect their daughter.
Earlier in the episode, Rachel's mom Laura (Megan Gallagher) figured out that something is definitely wrong with her daughter. As they were planning the wedding, Rachel refused to put up an announcement on the paper, which got her wondering if she was hiding something from them. Rachel also refused to have a lavish wedding, which she has always wanted since she was a little girl.
When Laura confronted Mike about it, the lawyer lied and said that it was because Rachel was feeling sorry for him. He claimed that he did not have a family who will attend the ceremony.
Speaking to TV Guide, showrunner Aaron Korsh hinted that Laura and Robert Zane (Wendell Pierce) may have something to do with Mike's arrest. He hinted that it could be the parents, saying that they only had Rachel's best interest at heart.
The producer further revealed that he already made up his mind on who the culprit is. He said that his editor was surprised when he told him about the who did it. Korsh, however, said that some of the fans may not be at all surprised given that there is already a long list of people who already know Mike's secret.
In a separate interview with the publication, Korsh shared that one of the popular theories was that it was the priest who turned Mike in. Given that he was one of the last people that Mike talked to before the arrest, this is also a huge possibility.
