FOX recently confirmed that "New Girl" season 5 will include Megan Fox in the first few episodes.

The network has decided to do so to make sure that the ratings of the comedy show will be high in the wake of Zooey Deschanel's absence.

According to The Columbus Dispatch, Fox will play the role of a sexy and smart pharmaceutical sales representative who will be renting Jess' loft while she is away.

Her presence would excite the boys, but this could also risk the relationship they have with Jess.

Meanwhile, according to Movie Pilot, there is a chance that FOX's decision to tap Fox could jeopardize Deschanel's stint on the show.

If Fox gives a highly entertaining performance, there is a chance that fans would want to see her in more episodes of "New Girl" season 5.

If FOX decides to invite her again to the show after the first few episodes, the attention of the fans could be divided between her and the lead actress.

On the other hand, some fans of Deschanel claimed that they will boycott "New Girl" if Fox will be tapped as a series regular in the upcoming episodes or seasons.

The fans are worried that the show will no longer be focused on Jess, who also happens to be the "New Girl" of the show.

In other news, "New Girl" will premiere with the episode entitled "No Girl" because all of the scenes will be centered on the boys of the series.

"New Girl" season 5 will premiere on FOX sometime next year.
