According to Play Station Lifestyle, these changes are mainly angled towards balancing out the characters in the game play. Currently, the patch is available for the Play Station 4 users, and is expected to be released soon for the Xbox One and the PC users soon.

The patch also ensures that the players can choose the particular landing location, which they want for Krush. The character of Predator was also changed with this update. The two smart discs do not appear any more when Predator is used in the game now.

The tweaking for the Kool Whip for the Ronin version was also done with this update. The players will now be able to use this with a lot more consistency. Other characters like Tanya, Reptile, Tremor, Shinnok, Quan Chi, Jax Johnny Cage, D'Vorah, Kano, and Jacqui are also getting their respective fixes with this update patch.

There are new rumors floating about the possible new downloadable content pack for "Mortal Kombat X". Warner Bros. recently confirmed this rumor, stating that they are indeed developing a new DLC for the game. There are reports that some new content is coming by 2015-end.

The game is also rumored to get new characters in this new DLC, along with new skins and also a new stage. The rumor further states that these new characters might include the already existing non-playable characters. The list of the characters is yet to be confirmed.
