Even if Jihadi John, or Mohammed Emwazi, is number 1 one on the U.S. hit list, the United Nations has not place him on its sanction list because he is not a major recruitment threat for the Islamic State (IS) in Britain.

That is also why his assets are not frozen and he has not been banned from traveling, reports The Telegraph.

However, four British nationals were added on Monday to the UN terror list for the first time in almost 10 years. They are Omar Hussain, Sally Jones, Nasser Muthana and Aqsa Mahmood. They were added based on the request of British Prime Minister David Cameron.

The four are said to be actively recruiting for the IS and "using social media to promote terrorist activity online, including providing guidance on how to make homemade bombs." However, Conservative MP David Burrowes wants Jihadi John included because he is an international symbol of the IS terror.

Meanwhile, Mirror reports that a German author who spent 10 days with Jihadi John, but eventually escaped, warns that the IS is planning a nuclear holocaust to kill millions of people. Jurgen Todenhofer wrote about the planned "largest religious cleansing in history" in the book "Inside IS - Ten Days In The Islamic State," did not provide to media details on the nuclear holocaust plan.

But National Interest lists five ways in which a nuclear war could still happen. These are by mechanical accident, human error, show of force, dragged into it by someone else not expected to and a sore loser scenario. The nuclear holocaust could possibly be under the fourth scenario, although its capability to launch a nuclear attack could be a big question mark because the Islamic terror group is notorious for resorting to old ways to kill people such as beheading and stoning to death.

But Iraq informed the UN in late 2014 that the IS had stolen at least 40 kilograms of nuclear materials.
