With Zack Snyder's upcoming DC Comics film "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" hitting theaters next year, it has been reported fans will be getting major surprises about the Dark Knight.

Since 1989, Michael Uslan has co-produced every "Batman" film. In his interview in the "Fan Theory" podcast (via USA Today), Uslan revealed that fans are set to learn a Batman announcement at the New York City Con, which will take place in two weeks. According to Uslan, the news would be revealed on Oct. 10 at 1:30 p.m. EST.

Uslan did not specify the panel in which the announcement would happen; however, it is assumed that the news will take place on the "Batman: The Bat Universe" panel at the Empire Stage in the Javits Convention Center.

According to Cinema Blend, the big news could be something about what would happen in the big screen, particularly the likelihood of having more "Batman" films in DC's Cinematic Universe. The publication added that the Warner Bros. heads would like to feature Ben Affleck's Batman, as they were satisfied with his performance as the Dark Knight.

Meanwhile, full trailer of Snyder's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is set to hit the big screen along with the release of J.J. Abram's upcoming sci-fi film "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" on Dec. 18. Another full trailer will also be released together with Ericsone Core's action crime thriller film "Point Break" on Dec. 25.

Directed by Snyder, "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" will lead to the rise of the superhero team Justice League. The film stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, Ray Fisher, Jesse Eisenberg, and Amy Adams, among others.

Snyder's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is set to be aired in two separate teasers on Oct. 26 while the film is slated to premiere in theaters in the United States on Mar. 25, 2016.
