Before he appears as Magneto in "X-Men: Apocalypse" opposite Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique, Michael Fassbender will star in "Steve Jobs," in which he plays the title character. In a recent press conference, he talked about the biopic and Ashton Kutcher, who also played the late Apple co-founder in 2013.

On Oct. 3, Saturday, "Steve Jobs" was screened at the New York Film Festival. During the press conference after the screening, Fassbender said the first thing he said to "Steve Jobs" director Danny Boyle was that he does not look anything like the late Apple co-founder.

"Christian Bale looks a lot more like Steve Jobs," Entertainment Weekly quoted Fassbender as saying. He went on to joke that he studied Kutcher, who also played the title role in Joshua Michael Stern's 2013 biopic "Jobs."

During the conference, "Steve Jobs" actor Seth Rogen talked about Fassbender's calm demeanor during the filming of the biopic. He said the "Steve Jobs" lead actor has a good sense of humor and is a big fan of the 1998 comedy film "The Big Lebowski."

Rogen went on to compare Fassbender to Bale's "The Big Short" co-star Ryan Gosling and James Franco, who is set to star in several 2016 films including "Zeroville," "In Dubious Battle," "Why Him?" and "Sausage Party," among others.

"I was worried he'd be very serious and Gosling-esque, if you will," Rogen told USA Today. "He's not like that. He's much more Franco-esque."

"Steve Jobs" will also be screened on Oct. 9 in New York and Los Angeles before its nationwide United States release on Oct. 2.

After "Steve Jobs," Fassbender will star with Lawrence in "X-Men: Apocalypse" along with Nicholas Hoult as Beast, Evan Peters as Quicksilver, Olivia Munn as Psylocke and Oscar Isaac as Apolypse, among others.
