Tomorrow, October 5, is the much awaited date for the new Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) to roll out on different smartphone brands and devices.

Google's own new Nexus devices Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X will get the new Android Marshmallow out of the box, while other Nexus older series such Motorola Nexus 6, LG Nexus 5 (2013), HTC Nexus 9, Asus Nexus 7 (2013) and Nexus player is also confirmed to get the new OS update from Google. However, bad news to Asus Nexus 7 (2012) and LG Nexus 4 users as they will not be receiving the update for Android 6.0.

Meanwhile, Google's OEM partners Motorola and HTC also listed their eligible devices to receive the v6.0 Marshmallow OS.

It is said that almost all 2014 and 2015 Motorola smartphones will receive the sweetness of the new Android OS, ZDNet reported. Motorola's list of eligible devices to receive the said update include DROID Turbo, Moto Maxx (2014), Moto X Style (3rd gen), Moto X Pure Edition US(3rd and 2nd gen), Moto X in Asia, Europe and Latin America (2nd gen), Moto Turbo (2014), Moto X Play, Moto G (3rd and 2nd gen) and Nexus 6 (2014).

Google's OEM partner HTC, the first who announced its Android 6.0 roll out to its devices, confirmed that 12 HTC handsets will receive the V6.0 update, which includes HTC One M9, One M9+, HTC One M8, HTC One E9, One E9+, One E8, One ME, Butterfly 3, HTC One M8 EYE, HTC Desire 826, Desire 820 and HTC Desire 816. The said update will roll out to couple of these listed devices by the end the year.

While Google OEM partners already confirmed which devices to receive the Marshmallow update, Korea-based Tech giant LG has yet to make an official announcement on their list of eligible devices for Android 6.0. It was previously reported by GForgames that LG G3 and LG G4 will taste the sweetness of Android Marshmallow as LG's Support Page for LG G3 F400S, LG G3 F400K, LG G3 F400L, LG G4 F500S, LG G4 F500K, and LG G4 F500L has a drop down menu option for the said OS.
