TNT recently released the trailer for "The Librarians" season 2. The adventure drama series is slated to premiere on Nov.1 at 8 p.m.

Based on the hit movie franchise of the same name, the series follows the story of an ancient organization hidden under the Metropolitan Public Library who aims to protect treasures and magical objects all over the world.

The series was renewed early this year following the positive response it received from viewers. According to Coming Soon, the show ranked no.2 just after "The Last Ship." It was able to pull in more than 11.4 million viewers per episode across all platforms.

Although details on the upcoming season remain scarce, executive producer John Rodgers hinted that season 2 will be a "complicated" season. He quickly added that fans will like it.

Rogers also posted that Jake Stone's backstory will be revealed in the coming episodes along with Cassandra's connection to the ancient magic. He also shared that this will be the year that Ezekiel will finally earn Baird's respect.

Meanwhile, SpoilerTV recently listed down a few exciting details that fans should look out for come season 2. Jake's father, Isaac Stone, will also play a pivotal role in the coming episodes.

It was said that a new shape-shifting monster will be featured. It will reportedly take the form of various characters, one of which is, Jake, as seen in the promo video. Jake will also have an exciting fight with Eve (Rebecca Romjin).
