Fans of "Teen Wolf" wanted to see Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) end with Lydia (Holland Roden) in season 5B. After that kiss in season 3, Stydia shippers cannot help but wonder if the two will eventually get together.
Based on the recent poll by Carter Matt, 52.83% "Teen Wolf" fans are in favor of Stiles and Lydia pairing, followed by Stiles and Malia (Shelley Hennig) with 26.42%. The outlet held that it has always been a dream for shippers to see Stiles and Lydia together. It is, however, yet to be confirmed if the two will get together come season 5. Although Stiles has always had feelings for her, Lydia seemed to be very much conflicted.
On the other hand, the publication held that Malia has always been there for Stiles. She feels strongly for him and only wanted what was the best for him. Stalia shippers may agree that this is the best pairing.
Back in July, Buddy TV listed down reasons why Stiles and Lydia should end up together. The publication pointed out that the writers are making an effort to give the two characters more screen time together, hinting that Stydia is about to happen. It did not help that Stiles was spending more time with Lydia than Malia this season.
The outlet added that Stiles and Lydia definitely belong together. They respect and care for each other. They also bring out the best in one another in an intellectual level. It was said that Stiles and Malia's personality mashed up well but she was not able to rise up to his level of deductive reasoning.
