Although there have been many speculations among fans concerning the plot of the upcoming Marvel reboot of "Spider-Man," director Jon Watt seems to remain aloof not to spill much information on the sequel.

Previously, when news came out that Sony and Marvel were collaborating to bring a new "Spider-Man" to the big screen, fans expected that after showing Spidey as Peter Parker two times, the sequel maker might settle for Miles Morales for the upcoming reboot.

Miles Morales, the comic book character, premiered in the "Marvel Ultimate Universe" after the death of Peter Parker. However, the studio immediately announced that actor Tom Holland will be acting Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the "Marvel Cinematic Universe," and all speculations regarding fans seeing Morales as Spidey died off.

However, recently the "Spider-man" reboot director Watt's statement rekindled the rumors about Miles Morales. When asked by Yahoo whether there had been any serious dialogue about Miles featuring in the next "Spider-Man" movie, the director did not entirely deny it but was a bit reserved not to reveal much information.

Watt said, "I can't talk about that, because, you know, that will reveal too much. We're still writing the story...we haven't finished all the way through the story yet, so who knows."

After following the same plot twice, it is likely that Marvel and Sony might try something else with the upcoming reboot to make it unique from the previous films in the product, according to International Business Times. A report from a Comic Book Movie speculated on what could be a better way to make the reboot different than adding another "Spider-Man" to the franchise.

Marvel's "Spider-Man" reboot is scheduled to release on July 28, 2017.
