"The Amazing Race" season 27 episode 3 named the challenge as "Where My Dogs At" this week started off highlighting Tanner's hamstring injury which he kept complaining of last week. Even though it appeared that he was indeed in pain, it would have been a real dampener if that injury messed up things for the team.
As the show progressed, all the teams on "Where My Dogs At" were wildly trying to get hold of a seat in the bus that was travelling to San Antonio De Areco, a rural set up in Argentina. On arrival each of them gets to choose truck for their first test.
According to Entertainment Weekly, The Road Block threw in a challenge which needed racks of beef and lambs to be perfectly roasted by the teams, which required them to transport to a festival. While Kelsey and Joey, Tanner and Josh, and Justin and Diana were the first to reach, it was Tanner and Josh who completed this level first and went on to the next clue for the Detour based on their eye for detail.
The Detour required the teammates to deck out in polo uniforms, dress up their horses, and transport them to the gala, Hypable reported. The teams would then dress up as broncos, clean up a carriage, and then pull the freight to acquire a hoard of horses.
It was Tanner and Josh lead the Detour by finishing first and therefore, decided to leave with Horse. Despite Cindy and Rick, Joey and Kelsey or the other teams closing in, Tanner and Josh still made it first based on their previous experience with horses.
It was undoubtedly Tanner and Josh who made it to the third Pit Stop first and proudly secured a trip to Cambodia. Justin and Diana finished second, followed by Kelsey and Joey at the third position. Ernest and Jin were disqualified from "The Amazing Race" as they were the last to report.
Fans can certainly count Tanner and Josh as the main contender for the winner after the fierce "Where My Dogs At" episode, but they surely need to be careful of their close competitors Justin and Diana, and James and Denise to conquer "The Amazing Race" season 27.
