Ashley Tisdale has officially changed status from single to married!
The 29-year-old High School Musical star tied the knot with musician Christopher French Monday.
"Best day of my life! Introducing Mr and Mrs French Sept 8, 2014," Tisdale announced on her Instagram account Tuesday.
Tisdale's High School Musical co-star Vanessa Hudgens was her bridesmaid.
Tisdale, who is set to star in TBS' Buzzy's, Instagrammed her wedding photos shot by Corbin Gurkin. The couple were seen wearing their wedding finery. Tisdale was beautiful in her floral crown and floor-length, A-line gown with delicate cap sleeves while linking arms with her new husband in a dark tux and tie.
Tisdale's publicist, meanwhile, confirmed the wedding but gave no other details of the private ceremony.
The couple had been dating for eight months when French, the lead vocal of Annie Automatic, proposed for marriage August 2013 at the top of the Empire State Building.
In an interview with Ryan Seacrest, Tisdale revealed that her relationship with French did not happen overnight and definitely took time to bud.
Her past relationships made her realize about what she really wanted, she said. "I wouldn't have gone into a relationship if it wasn't what I wanted," Tisdale revealed.
In an interview with E! News, Tisdale shared about how she prepared for the wedding that remained unknown to the press until she posted on her Instagram.
She said she had a wedding planner help her organize her wedding details.
"I'm definitely a perfectionist, so I'm definitely involved with certain things that you'd think I'd be relaxed on. I just want it to be perfect."
