According to Cinema Blend, the official filming of the movie will start early next year. It is not surprising that speculations on the adaptation have already reached rumor mills.

Reportedly, the upcoming "Power Rangers" reboot will not be a recreation of the original "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" series, but rather a continuation of the current series, "Power Rangers Dino Charge."

It is also reported that production of the movie has already settled on the villain and it appears like a 2017 release will be old school with the original villain of the first "Power Rangers," Rita Repulsa. This villain, who appeared in the original series, was unveiled from a space dumpster after her 10,000-year incarceration.

After being acquitted, she starts to conquer earth, triggering the Power rangers to save the world from the forces of evil.

The famous Robot Megazords is also rumored to feature in the next movie. Fans can also anticipate multiple scenes including the Rangers protecting the Morphin Grid that houses the energy source.

The "Power Rangers," an all-time classic children's TV show, features high school kids with extraordinary powers. The movie's success goes from generation to generation among the young viewers.

"Power Rangers" reboot is slated for a release in January 2017.
