Contending squads Crystal Palace (5-3-0, 15 points) and West Ham United (4-2-2, 14 points) are set to face each other for a 2015-2016 Premier League match at the Selhurst Park in South Norwood on Saturday, October 17.

The Eagles are coming off a 2-0 victory over West Brom in their last match on October 3 also at their home turf of Selhurst Park right before the international break.

Midfielders Yannick Bolasie and Yohan Cabaye scored one goal apiece in the second half of their encounter with the Baggies to snatch the three points for Alan Pardew's side and lift them up to the fourth spot in the overall standings, as reported by BBC Sport.

Meanwhile, the Hammers had settled for a 2-2 tie with Sunderland in their most recent game at the Stadium of Light also on October 3.

West Ham denied the Black Cats their first win of the season after defender Carl Jenkinson and midfielder Dimitri Payet scored a goal each to equalize the count after Sam Allardyce's men went up 2-0 in the first 22 minutes of the match, as per Chronicle Live.

Sunderland midfielder Jeremain Lens was sent off at the 57th minute and with the one-man advantage Slaven Bilić's wards were able to save a point in the league table.

West Ham is currently in sixth place of the standings and they will look to move up again versus Crystal Palace, but the Eagles are keen on extending their two-game winning run in this game.

The predicted result is a 1-0 win for Crystal Palace.
