Acer has announced a pair of new Windows 10, including Aspire R14 convertible notebook and the Aspire Z3-700 all-in-one PC with a built-in battery.

Aspire Z3-700 all-in-one is built around Microsoft’s new Windows 10 operating system and technologies such as the Cortana personal assistant, the Microsoft Edge browser and Continuum that lets Windows phones dock to a large display, keyboard and mouse. It has a built-in battery that will allow users to take the device on the go, while the addition of a mouse and keyboard will turn it into a regular PC if the user is staying put, PC World reported.

It features a built-in battery which can last up to five hours when not connected to wall power. The PC sports foldable legs which transforms it into a giant tablet so you can easily move it around the house.

The 17.3-inch full HD display, with 1920 x 1080 screen resolution, is also on the large side supports 10-point multi-touch for Windows and weighs around 2kg. It will be powered by Pentium N3700 or Celeron N3150 CPU (Braswell platform), up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM, Intel HD Graphics. Internal storage can go up to 256GB SSD or 500GB HDD, and paired with stereo speakers made from Dolby Audio.

The Next Acer Windows 10 laptop is the Aspire R 14, which is a convertible notebook. It runs on sixth generation Intel Core processors, paired with up to 8GB DDR3L system memory and SSD storage, according to The Verge.

Also, the laptop features MU-MIMO for faster downloads than 802.11ac products and the “multiuser multiple input, multiple output” wireless technology, which allows wireless routers transmit to and receive data from multiple Wi-Fi devices at the same time.

Its convertible keyboard can be used in the usual laptop mode or switched to a “display mode” by placing the keyboard behind the screen to make a tent or laying it flat under the display. Aspire R 14 features sounds technology of Dolby Audio. It has four modes to control blue-light emission from the screen and reduce eyestrain via using Acer’s BluelightShield.

Aspire Z3-700 sells at $680, and will be available in Europe, Middle East and Africa, but there is no definite availability in North America. Aspire R 14 will be available in the United States in late October for $699.
